Take advantage of advertising opportunities on our web site, through the monthly newsletter (both printed and electronic), by inserting a flyer in our newsletter or developing an ad for one of our printed programs for a special event.
This new program is aimed at bringing together similar business who share the same wants and needs (i.e. real estate, hospitality, banking).
The Chamber offers a display card holder in the office for members to utilize for people looking for area business leads or service.
These are a great way for our members to reach out into the community with their products and services.
We encourage our members to do business with other members. When we get inquiries through phone calls or through other sources, we gladly refer those people to our members.
The Chamber provides this service to its members free of charge. The Certificate, which verifies the country of origin, often is required by treaty arrangements enforced by foreign countries.
Our slick publication lists every member alphabetically and by business category. The annually publication also lists key numbers for the community.
The Chamber has a variety of standing committees as well as events committees. Let us know your interest and passion and we will help you find the right committee to join.
As a benefit of new membership, new members can get the entire Chamber membership list with labels, free of charge.
Aside from the on-going relationship with the City of Cypress, the Chamber also maintains a working relationship with the Southern California Association of Chamber Executives, the Western Association of Chamber Executives, the California Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
In association with the City of Cypress Redevelopment Agency and the Planning Commission, this interaction insures that the Chamber and the City work for all businesses residents in the community.
Another new project, this Chamber publication provides a map of the City, along with key numbers as a resource for businesses as well as residents.
The Chamber’s Legislative Committee, along with the West Orange County Legislative Committee representing neighboring chambers, helps provide necessary information that allows the Cypress Chamber to support or oppose business-related legislation on local, state and federal levels through advocacy efforts.
This is an opportunity for new members to not only meet the Chairman of the Chamber Board, but to be introduced to Cypress City officials as well, including the mayor and city manager. The lunch is on us!
We are proud of our members and want our members to be proud of the organization. We personally deliver a plaque indicating membership and hope it will be displayed proximately at your place of business.
The Chamber publishes a monthly “Cypress Today,” which is mailed to all Chamber members. In the near future this publication will be sent to all businesses in Cypress and then to all residents.
The monthly Chamber mixers are a fun way to meet and greet other members as well as people from the community. Members can host a mixer by calling the Chamber office.
For those who like starting to day with a pitch, this is a great opportunity to network. A guest speaker adds to the mix. The breakfasts are held the second Tuesday of every month.
Attending a networking breakfast, lunch of after hours mixer helps expand your economic base with your product or service.
The Cypress Chamber’s President’s Circle is made up of member businesses and organizations that are committed to the success of the special events and programs of the Chamber throughout the year. It remains the goal of the Chamber and its Special Events Division to provide quality events and programs for the board spectrum of its members and the community by interfacing with local venues, sports teams, media and vendors to produce activities that are timely, financially rewarding and publicity well received.
As a way to introduce your new business or grand opening, the Chamber provides a free ribbon cutting that includes our Ambassadors, Board members, City administrators and members of the organization.
The Chamber helps produce events such as the Cypress Community Festival, Holiday Extravaganza, State of the City Luncheon, Chamber Golf Tournament, the Installation/Business Awards, Business Expos and Red Ribbon Week.
This program was developed to help the Chamber upgrade outdated equipment in its office. This is a voluntary program and contributors are listed on the Chamber web site.
The goal is to make the Chamber web site a valuable resource for not only its members, but for the community at large. Future development will outline Chamber activities, programs and events, highlight committee work and serve as a resource for valuable and key numbers for both the business community, but all residents of the city.
Relatively new, a vibrant committee aims to provide encouragement, networking and prosperity for the enhancement of the professional lives of women in business. The group meets on the third Wednesday of each month.
